Lethbridge firefighters & police set to compete in charity softball game

Some of Lethbridge’s emergency responders will battle it out at Spitz Stadium.

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) and Lethbridge Fire and Rescue will take part in the annual charity “Battle of the Badges” softball game at Spitz Stadium on Friday, June 27, 2025.

The friendly competition will also include dignitaries from the City of Lethbridge and management from the Lethbridge Bulls Baseball Club.

“The Bulls are excited to be a part of a great community event that sees thousands of dollars raised for local charities right here in Lethbridge,” say the Bulls, adding that the event celebrates service, unity and community spirit.

The Battle of the Badges kicks off with a tailgate party at 5:00 p.m., which will feature an outdoor barbecue, live DJ, beverages, and family-friendly activities.
